about me
The web has been my primary medium since 1999, and I have had the good fortune to work in many different environments — large, small, for-profit, nonprofit, e-commerce, public health, etc. Design is a fun and ever-changing business, and I’m constantly inspired by all the smart and creative people I come in contact with.
Lately I’ve been working on marketing microsites, software installation flows, a connected TV interface, and usability audits for various web applications.
My experience includes:
- information architecture (wireframes, flow diagrams, site maps)
- interaction design
- functional specs
- usability testing (in person and remote)
- graphic design
- requirements definition
- QA (visual and usability)
- interpreting site analytics
- front-end development (XHTML, CSS)
- conformance to standards (W3C, accessibility, etc.)
- working directly with non-technical clients and end-users
